KINGS OF SOPHENE. Arkathias I, after circa 150 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.53 g, 12 h), Arkathiokerta (?). Draped bust of Arkathias I to left, wearing bashlyk tied with a diadem. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - APKAΘIOY Nike standing right, holding wreath in her right hand. Kovacs 22. Very rare without the usual countermarks. An unusually attractive and clear example. Very fine.
